Grades Of Absolute Truth - Live In Your Living Room

We’re offering a new platform to experience our music – LIVE IN YOUR LIVING ROOM. Think of it as your own private house concert – you choose the date, the time, and invite the attendees. We bring an intimate performance and a conversational presentation of the social experiment that inspired the songs.
Many people don’t realize the blood, sweat, and tears that we pour into this. With a proper release comes many costs – recouping for studio time, mixing, mastering, graphic design, printing, digital distribution, videos, merch, promotion, PR work, lots of time, and the list goes on. Since we are completely independent, we must come up with creative ways to fundraise. With that said, we are reaching out to our supporters for help. If you’re behind what we’re doing, consider taking advantage of this awesomeness. Here’s more details…

An intimate live performance from GOAT (Grades Of Absolute Truth) broken into two 30 minute sets with a 20 minute break in between. We’ll be performing acoustically with little to no sound system. Expect vocals, guitar, keyboard, & a hand drum. Listeners sit close and are quietly attentive. GOAT will be discussing the process he went through to prepare for the senseless ep while allowing you to experience pieces of it yourself (if you choose). Think of it as an unplugged story-telling jam session. House Concerts are known to include light snacks, beverages, or a pot luck dinner – you’re welcome to get creative with it.

You and up to 25 of your closest peeps – family, friends, neighbors, and/or co-workers. Being a host/hostess is as easy as having a small gathering of friends at your home. If you expect more than 25, please let us know in your email.

You tell us! Include a potential date or dates in your email (form is at the bottom of this page). After checking our availability, we’ll respond as soon as possible. Once all details are set, you’ll receive a custom digital flier to send as an invitation to your guests that looks similar to this: House Concert Invitation Template

We will cater to your needs and are open to your ideas, but this is a suggested layout of the evening:
7 pm – People Begin Showing Up
8 – 8:30 pm – Our 1st Performance
8:30 – 8:50 pm – Break
8:50 – 9:20 pm – Our 2nd Performance
9:20 – 10:30 pm – Hang Out
Total: 3 1/2 hours

Your living room, garage, porch, or backyard. Basically wherever your attendees can comfortably fit while sitting. Great for celebrations, barbecues, pool parties, or just to support our new release.

Because this opportunity is unlike anything you’ve ever experienced – up close and personal.
Cause it’s in the comfort of your own home and can be scheduled as early or as late as you want.
Perhaps you’re curious about the senseLESS Cleanse and this is a perfect way to hear about it firsthand.
Or maybe you just want to support a life-long, hard-working, completely independent artist!

We will consider ANY offer, but please keep in mind that we must cover our expenses and make SOMEthing.
Let us know your budget and we’ll let you know what we can do.
You can charge admission, collect donations from your guests, or the host/hostess can cover costs entirely.
If you live in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area, traveling expenses would be low since we live here.
If your home is more than 2 hours from Dallas, please consider that we have to cover gas and lodging before you send us an offer. If you’re willing to have us as guests for the night, please let us know in your email.
If you are interested in flying us to your home, those expenses will be discussed through email – we travel cheaply.

We can even put together gift bags for your guests that would include:

  • A copy of the senseless ep (6 song CD)
  • Any shirt we have in stock
  • Grades Of Absolute Truth sticker
  • A printed description of the senseLESS Cleanse and Phase 2 with links to the blog (explanation in FAQs below)
  • A senseless kit (includes blindfold, earplugs, tissue, sanitizer, and a piece of fruit)

To schedule your own private house concert, fill out the contact form below. We’re excited to put this in motion and come hang out with you!

What if 25 people are invited and only 10 people show up?
That’s no problem for us. We love to share our music with anyone willing to listen.

How much does it cost to travel?
Just think of it as planning a trip. We must cover gas to get musicians and gear to and from your home. If your home is over 2 hours from Dallas, lodging may be an additional cost unless you are willing to have us as guests for the night. If you are interested in flying us to your home, those expenses will be discussed through email. If you’d like to request something special for your event, let us know and consider the time it would take to prepare.

How far will you travel?
Anywhere in the world, as long as traveling expenses and lodging can be covered. Specific costs will be discussed through email.

Will you be bringing CDs, t-shirts, and other merchandise?
Yep, we’ll have full merch set up and available.

How long is the expected duration of the event?
It’s completely up to you and we will cater to your needs, but most parties last 3 or 4 hours. Our suggestion is to have a 7 pm start time, with our first performance at 8 pm. We would perform from 8 to 8:30, have a break from 8:30 to 8:50, then perform our second set from 8:50 to 9:20. A safe ending time would be 10 or 10:30 pm.

What is the senseLESS Cleanse and Phase 2?
The senseLESS Cleanse is a customized 40-day cleanse that GOAT designed for himself. It’s based on many of his weaknesses and was intended to help him build an inspirational bank to write from. The restrictions he put on himself included diet, exercise, no physical contact, no music/TV/movies/phone conversations, and paying attention to how many times he visually admired women. Phase 2 was a series of five 48-hour experiments, each designed to dampen a specific sense (sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch). For example, he wore a blindfold for an entire weekend to experience what it was like to not have sight.
