My name's Justin. My artist name is Grades Of Absolute Truth. I'm a singer-songwriter from Dallas and you should book me for a performance. I provide my own sound and up to 4 hours of live music. And once you and I decide on a date, I get to work. I design a set list of popular classic songs that cover a variety of genres and time periods. Then I design a digital flier, update my website and my online profiles. I'll tag your venue in all my posts, bring attention to your establishment, and boost a social media ad (if requested), targeting the specific location. I'm self-sufficient, dependable, and easy to work with. In the past, I've performed over 700 shows at high capacity venues, bars, clubs, breweries, wineries, restaurants, parks, weddings, celebrations, homes, and even assisted living facilities. And everyone has always wanted to book me again. I can show up as a solo act or bring another musician with me for a duo set. Reach out and let's get something locked down on the calendar. Hope to hear from you soon.

Grades Of Absolute Truth (Justin Griffith) is a self-help soulful indie artist who has been writing and creating a unique brand since 2005. The elementary school teacher by day embeds conscious lyricism, self-awareness, and struggle into every performance. Referred to as the illegitimate child of promiscuous genres, he shows true diversity in his blend of music. Expect a friendly and chill vibe - rock, country, blues, pop, originals, and occasional poetry.

It depends on what venue I'm playing at. I design a set that I think your patrons will enjoy.
After I begin my performance...
Much like a DJ, I read the audience. My goal is to please the clientele of your establishment. If I get a big response from a specific genre, then I'll work more of that in. If I don't get much of a response from a certain time period, then I may skip over songs I know from that particular era.
Look at the section above called "Covers I Play" for a living list of songs that I know and can play. There's a huge variety. Sometimes, I'll even ask my crowd - yall want some Luke Combs or Smashing Pumpkins? The response tells me where to go.
With all that said, every situation is different and I aim to please. I'm hired for a job and I want to match your vision.

Yes. I've had venues request no country. I've also had venues request mostly country. I cater to what is wanted and needed.
As of now, I play rock, old & new country, blues, pop, and a small amount of appropriate hip hop.
